For the record, I still have yet to watch the ff:
- Kung Fu Panda 2
- Green Lantern
- X-Men: First Class
(Sorry, not really hyped up for “Transformers: Dark of the Moon” - the second installment really fucked me over)
And to think that I often put in my “interests” at social networking sites “watching movies”. Don’t get me wrong, I like watching movies, but I’m just not getting opportunities. Instead of watching movies with my grandpa, I go around the mall browsing at bookstores because I’m an on-call errand boy for my grandma who plays BINGO.
As a matter of fact, I have two movies on my desktop that I’ve yet to watch:
- A Tale of Two Sisters (I’ve watched this before in fragments)
- 13 Assassins (recommended by my close friend Marvin)
I also have a DVD that I’ve yet to watch, and it’s “Afro Samurai: Resurrection”.
Another disgraceful fact about me is that I haven’t even watched “Avatar”. Yes, the film that beat “Titanic” in terms of money made.
So much for a Communication Arts graduate and aspiring writer/director for film.

Wag Ka ng Umiyak - Sugarfree (Live! with the Manila Symphony Orchestra)
By now, most of us knew the story. Ebe Dancel will leave Sugarfree. And it is a sad day for us fans. Some of us may cry, some of us may shed a tear, and some of us will just leave things as they are.
Wag Ka ng Umiyak is considered by critics as one of the best anthems, if not the best among his works, Ebe Dancel has created. The message is straight and clear. The melody and the whole song is just so heart wrenching.
Perhaps Ebe is just too ahead of his time when he wrote this song almost 5 years ago. Perhaps this song is for us fans today, lamenting the loss of a great act that is Sugarfree.
But personally, this song is not enough to wipe my tears.
Maraming-maraming salamat Ebe Dancel at Sugarfree sa inyong musika! Mabuhay ang Sugarfree!
